2008 Season

CVC League

JV 
The JV team finished 7-1 in the CVC summer league.  The warriors were led by captains Bri Clegg and Brittany Williams.  Their season came to an end taking 3rd losing a tight match to Pickerington North in the semi finals.  Great season ladies.

 

Seniors Christine Frazier and Megan Lutz of Mintonette Sports finished 17th in the American division of the USA Junior Olympics in Dallas Texas.  The tournament consists of the best teams in the country.  Winning 7 of 11 pool and tournament matches, they beat teams from California, Houston, Wisconsin, Indiana, Dallas, and Sacramento.  Good job ladies!!

  • Freshman Bluffton Tournament

    July 16, 2008 @ Bluffton University

    The freshman team finished 8-2 and tied for first in the tournament.  Congratulations ladies and a special thanks to Christine Frazier for coaching the team.

 

The varsity team won 6 of their last 9 matches including 4 against teams who are ranked in the top 10 in central Ohio.  The Warriors completed the season making their first district appearance and 10 win season since 2003.

 

 

Maumee Bay

JV 

CHAMPIONS!!!

The JV won every pool to also win their flight in Maumee Bay.   The warriors on Friday fought from behind on several occasions to close out matches.  Congratulations to Maggie Stern and the JV team on a successful tournament!

 

Varsity

CHAMPIONS!!!

The Varsity team won their flight at the Maumee Bay tournament on Saturday.  The warriors went 12-4 in pool play and tournament matches.   It was an all around team effort that won the championship.  Another notable match was having the preseason ranked #7 team in the state Dublin Coffman on their heels.  "Had them right where we wanted them."
